- Train (Most Economical): Take the free shuttle to BWI Rail Station, then take either the MARC commuter train (about $8) or Amtrak (about $16) to Union Station. Inside Union Station, one entrance to the Red Line Metro is located on the same level as the trains near a Pret a Manger. Take the Red Line Metro to Metro Center.

- George Washington never lived in the White House. John Adams was the first president to reside in what was originally called the President’s House, now known as the Executive Mansion.
