The mid-career faculty workshop is designed for individuals who are post-tenure, particularly those recently tenured. Attaining tenure is a significant milestone in an academic’s career. However, being a tenured faculty member also brings a new set of challenges, responsibilities, and freedoms. This workshop’s goal is to engage in open discussion and debate about these challenges, among workshop participants and invited mentors. In doing so, we will explore the different paths available to post-tenure academics, examine the different approaches to achieving these goals, and promote a fulfilling academic career.
