Kick off the 2026 Association for Consumer Research Conference with a visit to Mindworks, a one-of-kind behavioral science lab and discovery center just steps from the conference hotel! Meet fellow conference attendees, enjoy complimentary drinks and light bites, and learn about this innovative approach to data collection. Join us for some or all of the festivities.

About Mindworks
Mindworks is the world’s first and only behavioral science discovery center and working lab operated by the Roman Family Center for Decision Research at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Free and open to the public, Mindworks features 8 interactive exhibits on foundational concepts in behavioral science like goal-setting, biases, and regrets and engages the public in new scientific research.

Opening Reception

Make sure you join us for a chance to catch up with old colleagues and meet new ones!
The Opening Reception will be held at the Palmer House Hilton in the Grand/State Ballroom for ease of those attending the workshops and staying in the hotel. The reception is included in the registration fee for all registered attendees and will include a drink and light food.
