Wondering how to get to the conference venue from the overflow hotel?
Look no further, Felix and Shemal got you covered!
Step 0
Make sure you have valid metro ticket! The easiest way is to install the Bonjour RATP app and buy tickets on your phone: https://www.ratp.fr/en/apps/bonjour-ratp.

Step 1
As you exit the hotel through the main entrance, turn right. You will see a large building on the left (circled red). You can use this building as a landmark to orient yourself.
Step 2
At end of the street, you reach a large crossing. Turn left here and cross at the crosswalk (towards the large building, keeping left).
After the crosswalk, turn right again. Pass by the pharmacy sign (green LED cross).
Step 3
As you reach the next crosswalk, do not cross, but turn left (towards the big building).
You will reach an open pedestrian space next. Do not enter the station (Gare Montparnasse)! Instead go straight ahead, passing the big building.
Step 5
You will reach another crosswalk near multiple bus stops. Cross here straight ahead, but be careful with traffic!
Step 6
After crossing you should already see the Metro Station Montparnasse Bienvenue – great job! Now it’s time to take the metro…
Step 7
We have to take the Metro Line 6 direction “Nation”. The metro station has signs that you can follow. Have your ticket ready to enter!
Step 8
Take the Metro for 5 stops until “Glaciére”! Go towards the exit (“Sortie” in French).
As you exit the metro station, turn left.
Step 9
Cross the crosswalk towards the bank “Caisse D’Epargne”, then turn right again. You are now walking directly towards the conference hotel!!

Success!! You have made it through the Paris concrete jungle, took the metro, and are just in time for your first day at the conference. Enjoy!
