To assist PhD students with limited resources to attend the Asia-Pacific ACR 2024 conference in Bali, we collaborate with the Sheth Foundation to grant need-based travel stipends to PhD students with an accepted competitive paper, working paper, special session, or roundtable. Anyone who will be a PhD student in July 2024 and presenting their work at the conference as a student is encouraged to apply.
These stipends will include complimentary conference registration and the conference gala.
To apply, PhD students should submit the following documents by email (as PDF attachments) by February 28, 2024, to firstname.lastname@example.org
Cover letter, making a (need-based) case for their selection for the stipend and including the details of their accepted conference presentation. Please state the name of your supervisor and indicate at which stage of your program you are.
A copy of their CV.
The stipend decision will be made by a committee based on merit and need. The committee consists of three members of the conference program who will have no conflict of interest with any of the applicants.
Students with an accepted competitive paper or a special session will receive priority over those with an accepted working paper or roundtable.
Applicants will be informed by April 2024 regarding the outcome of their application.
The Call for Papers for the Asia-Pacific ACR Conference 2024 is also open! All submissions must be received by December 1, 2023 (midnight, CET). For detailed information, guidelines, and submissions, please visit www.apacr2024.com.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Asia-Pacific ACR Conference 2024.
